Wiring & Internal Function Description

  • Governor & motor power supply positive input.
  • Governor & motor power input negative.
  • Positive output of motor power supply.
  • Negative output of motor power supply.
  • Rotation Control: High level 5V, low level 0V (Touch switch 2 F/R). Default: High.
  • Brake Control: High level 5V, low level 0V (Touch switch 1 BRA). Default: High.
  • Analog Output: 0~5V for analog voltage speed regulation motors.
  • PWM1 (Reverse): Speed is inversely proportional to duty cycle.
  • PWM2 (Forward): Speed is proportional to duty cycle.
  • Feedback: Motor feedback signal input (FG/FG*3 jumper configurable).

Governor Parameter Settings

Frequency Setting:

Hold switch 1 before power-on. Release when "FEQ:20K" displays. Use switch 1 to reduce and switch 2 to increase. Factory default: 20KHz.

Pole Number Setting:

Hold both switch 1 and 2 before power-on. Release when pole count appears. Adjust to match your motor's poles. Factory default: 1 pole.

Feedback & Direction:

FG/FG*3 Pin: Add jumper cap for 3x FG; remove for single FG.

CW/CCW Pin: Add jumper for initial CCW state; remove for CW state.

Display: The main screen shows Input Voltage, Speed, Frequency, and Duty Cycle.

Important Precautions

  • 1. Positive and negative power supplies must be connected correctly. Reversed polarity will burn the governor.
  • 2. Ensure the motor matches the control interface requirements.
  • 3. Control ports (⑤-⑨) must NOT exceed 5V voltage input.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the maximum current this governor can handle?
The rated current is MAX 2A. If your motor requires more current, connect the motor power line directly to the power supply instead of through the governor.
How do I change the PWM output frequency?
Press and hold touch switch 1 before powering on. Once the screen displays the frequency, use switch 1 to decrease or switch 2 to increase. The default is 20KHz.
What happens if I reverse the positive and negative power connections?
Reversing the power supply will prevent the governor from working and will cause it to burn out. Always follow the wiring instructions carefully.
How do I configure the motor pole count?
Hold down both switch 1 and switch 2 simultaneously before powering on. When the pole setting appears, adjust it using the switches to match your motor's design.
Can I use this for both PWM and Analog speed control?
Yes, the governor supports PWM1 (reverse), PWM2 (forward), and Analog voltage output (0-5V) to suit different motor regulation requirements.
What is the purpose of the jumper cap on the FG pins?
The jumper cap sets the feedback multiplier. With the cap added, it is set to 3 times FG; without the cap, it is set to single FG feedback.
